What are sources to carcinogens?Many people worry that substances or exposures in their environment may cause cancer. Carcinogen is cancer that is caused by changes in the cells.Some changes may be inherited while others may be caused from outside exposure.Some carcinogens do not affect the DNA but lead to cancer in many other ways.Carcinogens do not cause cancer in every case.Some may cause cancer by being exposed for a very long amount of time.
Carcinogens affect the body in many different ways.For example many cause cancer but others are due to being exposed to it.How do you get exsposed to it? Well some of the many ways are solar radiation,peanuts,peanut butter,corn, and cheese.Everyone in the world is most likely exposed to carcinogens it just doesn’t affect others as badly.Carcinogens are basically any causes of cancer.Exposures to these can cause some weird changes to the cells in our bodies that can lead to cancer.For example some carcinogens can cause genetic mutation that foster abnormal cell growth and tumors.These are just some of the sources and reason as to why carcinogen affects the body.

Some of the many myths about tobacco use is that it isn’t a drug or it won’t kill you, but that is not true tobacco is a drug because of the nicotine that is found in it is very addictive . It has been compared to cocaine and heroin addiction. It causes symptoms such as insomnia, you being nervous very often, and irritability. Some tobacco’s can’t kill you it just all depends on the way your brain and body react to it ,but you are in the risk of many types of cancers such as mouth, lung, throat, and any part of the body pretty much.

Other myths about tobacco use is that only older women and men ( adults ) use or have used tobacco within their lifetime. More than 16 million people use tobacco or any type of tobacco related drug today in America. Basically if you use any type of tobacco you are asking for more money loss than you already loose every day or a death wish basically. The most common age teens start smoking is 13 .Most new tobacco users are adolescents, not adults.

People say that once you get addicted to something you can never stop, but that is not all correctly true if you notice you have a problem or addiction to something that is hurting your body and you actually want to try and stop that addiction you can get help, talk to a doctor to stop your addiction, or you can go into rehab to help with your addiction. When someone stops smoking or chewing tobacco your body system immediately starts repairing itself. For example, nerve endings start growing back and lungs start improving within one week of non-smoking. It takes most people 5 tries before they actually stop using any tobacco products for good.

When people say that smoking helps calm the body down that is not always true. In almost all tobacco products there is something called nicotine in it which is a stimulant and stimulants cause your body to speeds up a persons life time.For example, say you were just sitting on the couch for a couple hours well while you waste the day just sitting on the couch doing nothing ,you have wasted away a day of your everyday life, but if you smoke say a pack or two a day while sitting on the couch you are most likely spending away more days of your life then you would by just sitting there doing nothing.

Some people smoke because they think it helps them lose weight but in reality it decreases their exercise or movement . Smoking damages your lungs which circulate the air in which you breathe and without lungs you would not be able to breathe .So therefore smoking causes you to be more out of shape to were if you were strong and could lift hundreds of pounds before that once you start smoking you lose you ability to do all of that. For many smokers they gain weight , others lose weight, while others stay the same size they were when they started smoking. Losing weight started when the women’s cigarettes came out called slims or light because women thought that considering it had the weight loss name in it that it would help them lose more weight.

This is just few of the myths and facts out there . Hopefully now that you know that the things people tell you or what you see online about how using any sort of tobacco product isn’t bad for your body isn’t true I hope you take into consideration and STOP TEEN SMOKING for a better society.
